Hi all, I am SethDBinJP here and on the official forums. I spent some significant time in Vanguard (a lovely game before it died a lonely death), LOTRO (before it went free-to-play) and EVE (which I still dabble in from time to time). I live in Guam or Japan and am currently heading back that way in the morning from a family visit to New England. While I seek people playing near my time-zones, I am used to playing with US or European groups. I hope to introduce myself better, and get to know the rest of you, after arriving and clearing my head of jet-lag. So please forgive a few days of silence.

Welcome to Sanctus & the forums!
Hope your trip was a safe one. We are very glad to have you in the guild and can't wait to work with you on improving the structure of the guild.
Everyone please give a warm welcome to our new Knight Commander! He will be in charge of all our different battalions/troops. More information on this new structuring will be provided soon.

Thank you Slayus, A little more of introducing me. I have been occasionally entered the pre-alpha testing scenarios since the first release of HungerDome last summer (2015,) but I am not much of a bug-reporter and prefer to play a game after it is polished up a bit. However, I have not participated in anything earlier than open beta(s) for other games, so it was fun to see what an pre-alpha play-test looked like.
I introduced myself to Slayus last week with a long email and a link to an on-going "thought-problem" I had been working on. I started out by trying to answer the question "what type of guild would I want to play in." This quickly led to the realization that the question did not work the same as it would in other games I have played. The DEVs are building something with unique elements, and unique combination of older elements. So, the question morphed into "what type of guild would I want to play Crowfall in" and the typical guild templates I was seeing on the forum back in 2015 did not seem to compliment the game's potential. This led me to attempt designing a guild from scratch, just so that I could see what I was looking for. The results of that planning were what I shared with Slayus, because I felt that what he is trying to do with streamers and Sanctus blended well with the structural philosophy I had constructed to answer my question. I will explain more in a different area of these forums, but I just felt it needed to be mentioned, in brief, where I suddenly came from with a title already.
