ArtCraft has officially launched a safe way for player to purchase and trade Kickstarter and 2015 pledge packages! Stronghold packages and other parcels will be increasing in overall price at the end of August (Glad I got the small castle upgrade!). General opinion: So far, the pledge and store items do not seem to give too much of a tactical advantage in campaigns to individual players (yes the mounts, crafting, and EK religious buildings, but nothing to egregious). Mostly it is EK and "color" based stuff. So, I do not really care if there is a secondary-market for limited term items and early investors seeking a profit margin. I do think that some of the pledge package items are tactically advantageous in setting up a guild, but I do not think that guilds as entities are going to be significant in any secondary market.
Specific to me: Before upgrading to my sapphire pledge, I jumped on an early promotion to purchase a large keep for $75, thinking I wanted a large one over the small (medium?) one that came with amber. After deciding to pull the trigger on the sapphire upgrade, I regretted having spent the $75 on what is now a down-grade from the small castle. I will probably keep it at least through closed beta, until I can determine if it is useful to me or the guild. But if it is not, I will likely see if the market frenzy near game release can give me a "refund" with interest.
